I totally believe you are what you eat! And I agree with #KatrinaKaif 's mom that healthy eating should be a lifestyle and not just a quick fix! I try to get most of my nutrition from the foods I eat so that I don't have to start popping pills to get in my nutrition. I am going to be 50 this year and I'm proud to say I've never been prescribed a nutritional supplement by any doctor! I make sure I eat my share of vegetables, protein and good fast everyday! Thank you @katrinakaif anf @sophiechoudry for nominating me to share #whatsinyourdabba One of my favorite go to foods is Quinoa Stir Fry ! Here's a sneak peak at the recipe, try it and let me know how you liked it. You can substitute amaranth or kous kous for quinoa. Ingredients: 1. 3 tablespoon raw Quinoa 2. 2 cups mixed veggies, broccoli, mushroom, red and yellow peppers, carrot 3. 1/2 cup edamame 4. 2 tablespoon 5. Salt and pepper 6. 1 tablespoon coconut oil 7. 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar 8. 1/2 tsp Liquid Aminos (healthier substitute for soy sauce ) Method: 1. Boil the quinoa 2. Stir fry the veggies in coconut oil and add salt and pepper for 5 mins. 3. Add the quinoa. 4. Add the apple cider vinegar and liquid aminos 5. Give it a toss, add the tofu and edamame 6. And serve. Be Fit, Because you Deserve It! I personally believe that one must include physical activity as per their choice everyday for 20 mins to 30 mins at least. It's very important to move your body. As important as choosing the right shoe for working out High Intensity Workouts. You may ask WHY? It's important to protect your foot during high-demand workouts. Movements such as side shuffles, pivots, jumping jacks, cutting between cones, ladder work, planks, and push-ups-you need support from front to back. Ready to somersault into 2020!!! This is one of the most difficult routines I've ever had to do and if it wasn't for my friend @tonka_cascais believing that I would be able to do it and pushing me till my fingers were ready to fall off and then saying once more, I would have given up! 🙏🙏 But I'm glad I didn't and I practised it for hours and days till I nailed it! Swan Prep: Engage the abdominals, slide the shoulder blades down, inhale and lift the upper body into extension only upto your forearms. Exhale and lower the torso back down. Repeat 3-5 times. 2. Swan: This time lift the upper body into extension as you press the hands into the mat. Keep the hips pressed into the mat to take the pressure off the lower back. Exhale lower the torso back down. Repeat 3-5 times. 3. Swan Dive: Start in the Swan, on an exhale release the arms and rock the torso forward and lift the legs simultaneously without losing the curve of the back.
