In March I'm planning to warm up a bit in Indonesia after cold winter trips to Lofoten islands and China. Just bought my air tickets to Bali and Komodo islands - going there with my wife and two daughters. Please give me some ideas where to stay and which places to visit there! I'm not a frequent guest in the south, but here's "northern paradise" image from Senja island. Hard to swim long in +7 C water though πŸ˜‚ #Indonesia #bali #recommendations

In Bali there is a lot to see. A lot of tourists though. I can recommend thw typical places like Jati Luwih, Besakih, Bedugul, Tanah Lot. Nusa Penida has a quite spectacular rugged coastline and a chance to snorkel with Mantas. Komodo is excellent for diving. If you search the best of the best you have to go to Raja Ampat, both for diving and island hopping.

@danielkordan Visit the island Nusa Penida south of Bali. It has the famous Kelingking beach and many other spots. Really beautifull!!!

Bali and Komodo would be the obvious choice. However, i would also recommend Sumba. If you don’t mind being a bit more adventurous in the sense seeing an area which not as fully develop in infrastructure and welfare. But Sumba, especially Southwest is breathtakingly beautiful, still rugged and not too exploit.
