Smell that? 🤔💩🐮⁣ ⁣ EXERCISE SELECTION is important but it can be very straight forward if you want it to be ✅⁣ ⁣ What’s more important and crucial to your progress is EXERCISE EXECUTION ⚒⁣ ⁣ Muscles don’t recognise how instagrammable your exercise selection is. Muscles recognise tension and progressive overload (lifting heavier weight over time ) 🏋🏼‍♂️📈⁣ ⁣ Learn proper execution and get comfortable being uncomfortable chasing that progressive overload, THEN start being more picky and ‘choosy’ with your exercise selection. Priorities 💭

old pic, but new accomplishment!🥳 ya girl ran her first 10k in under an hour today. it was tough but i’m so glad i did it!! when i first started running i set myself the goal of running a 10k didn’t matter how long it took me as long as i got myself through it. but knowing i managed it under 60 minutes makes the win even sweeter 😂 today’s distance wasn’t even planned, i started running back home at around 6k but then something in me was like nah boo you better keep going! you know, it really is just you against you! your mindset will carry you through the toughest of challenges or stop you when you’re stepping a little too far outside of your comfort zone. and running these sort of distance has always been a mindset challenge. yes your body can push you physically but your mind will take you that step further, it all boils down to how much you want it. and today when i made that split decision to keep going, the rest of the run was a mental battle rather than a physical one. so i’m super proud of myself and hungry to see what else i can do when i apply the right mindset.
