💜 Quality over Quantity 💜 . Calories are so damn important when it comes to bodybuilding or any other fitness goal for that matter. . It gives us control to manipulate our bodies and make it do what we want... build... shred... maintain... . ❓But are all calories equal?❓ ❌NO!❌ . I’ve see many “hitting” their macros and looking like absolute 💩 and not making the gains they would like because of the excess fat gained in the process. . First things that go are veggies... it doesn’t matter what your fitness goal is - the micronutrients you get from veggies & fruits are essential and needed. . They’re just as important as your macros. Next thing I would say is that lots of “no calories foods” or “packaged foods” are making a comeback. . I understand you think, cals in vs. cals out and that’s it but your human machinery still needs the right fuel to work efficiently. 👌🏽 . It’s crucial that we see cals & macros more than numbers. . I want to swim through a bowl of rice Forcing myself to workout now, but all I want to do is eat a huge bowl of rice, butter & cheese (my nightly escapism meal ) Fall: energy is less UP, a little heavier mixed with Brisk Winds....I always have to Push myself to do workouts when it's after 5pm, this time of year.... Rice: induces earlier sleep onset & longer sleep duration It's grounding-can help calm anxiety. Rice can be used as substitute for more processed & toxic carbs. I wanna give a big shoutout to @stabbaa for this amazing transformation that we worked hard for this past year. We were working together only twice a week but he made sure his DIET was in check and solo training in check too which is 70% of the process I only put out structure, programming and accountability. Aesthetics are a goal for many people but when you train with me you realize how much more fun and addicting training is when you have performance goals too. We achieved goals with bodyweight training such as: ▪️Proper technique clean light band muscleups ▪️Tucked front lever 7sec+ ▪️10+ full range of motion clean strict pullups ▪️100lbs dip ▪️Highly improved conditioning level My clients progress is something that brings me joy that I cant explain in words, anytime any of my clients make progress and achieve something new it brings me back to the same joy that I used to and still feel when I achieve new goals. I am more than excited to continue with this transformation and sharpen up Sami’s calisthenics game to it’s full potential.
