if we’re gonna be cooking and baking with limited items, we might as well have fun with it, amirite❗️so doing a little a challenge. (idek, like a quarantine cooking games? haha ) 👩‍🍳 here’s the challenge: i grabbed ingredients that i honestly forgot i had, or just leftover from holidays, & each day for two weeks i’ll be making a recipe with that specific ingredient! my mom actually selected the items & the day to use it so let me tell you ~ we are getting VERY random... but it’s just a fun way to get creative and use what i got ☺️ i started up yesterday with molasses ~ so i made a homemade asian bbq marinade (below! ) and pumpkin molasses granola bars! if ya wanna give it a go, you can always find inspo for recipes from instagram, favorite bloggers websites, pinterest, etc. wanna join? let’s do it!! 👏🏼 . . . dEATS 👉 Asian BBQ Marinaded Salmon (1/2c coconut aminos of soy sauce + 2 tbsp molasses + 1 tbsp minced garlic + 1 tsp grated ginger + 1 tsp sriracha + 1 tbsp vinegar + 1/2 tsp onion powder + s&p ~ marinated salmon for 15 min. then placed skin side up in a hot skillet for 3 min, flip skin side down 3 min, end in broil for 5 min ) // paired with white rice and sautéed zucchini + mushrooms with s&p

During our journey our goals can change! Throughout the beginning of my journey (right ) I was so determined to be as skinny as I could with as much muscle as possible! But I still wasn’t healthy mentally and physically! Now my goal is that I don’t care how lean I am I want to be fit, healthy and strong as I can be! AT-HOME PAMPERING TIPS.💆🏼‍♀️💅🏻🧖🏼‍♀️ — Now more than ever, a little pampering and self-care goes such a long way. With our usual routines out the door, and spas, nail salons, facialists, lymphatic drainage specialists or whatever you love to do unavailable - it's easy to forget about this super vital component of our well being. I've made an effort to implement a bunch of these at home to really elevate my quarantine experience, so I put together a list of my top suggestions for you all. (You definitely do not have to do everything or anything, just some ideas if you are interested in a little self-pampering! ) — 💞BODY CARE. —  Using products on my body that truly make me feel my best and add that self-care element. I just stocked up on all my faves from  @necessaire 'The Body Essentials' kit - their body wash, lotion & exfoliator has me feeling great. They have different scents (including unscented ); I particularly love the eucalyptus as it full on turns my bathroom into a spa. (Code: SWEATS10 ) 💞MANI/PEDI. — I've been trying to give myself the full experience (a little hand massage with moisturizer, buffering, cuticle cutting and picking colors I love ), and while i'm definitely no pro - I've been improving! 💞BLOWOUT. — FACT: A good hair day makes you feel better. I’ve been trying to do this most days! 💞FACE MASKS. — I’ve been legit doing 3 per week (anyone see the accidental IG post? LOL IYKYK ). And it’s a good time to test out new ones! 💞STRETCHING. — Now that I have the time, I’ve been spending a lot longer just stretching my body when I wake up & post-workout. 💞GUASHA. — A great at-home alternative to lymphatic drainage for the face! 💞BATHS — Running a bath at the end of the day has been super relaxing. Try adding epsom salt! ✨BONUS: Making sure your home is kept neat and tidy is KEY. Not only for killing germs, but for keeping your space HAPPY & full of life. — Any other tips? xx #ssssweats
