Today's another day and even though it's the evening I have to put behind me all the glitz and glamour of the trails I walked on while in Virginia. Tonight I'm taking it back to what continues to aide me in my fitness journey. Rest assure I'm looking for the next trail to blaze real soon. Combination of walking outside and using my treadmill will surely help me reach my fitness goals. I'm back at it with another 99 minutes 58 second treadmill session. It's good to be home. 🌟Did you know that exercising at least 150 minutes a week has been proven to reduce symptoms of Stress/Anxiety and even Depression? Thats less than 30 minutes a day dude! - During these times, I understand there can be a lack of motivation... But if nothing else, get out and get going for your own mental health! It doesn't always have to be crazy intense, or even a "long" workout. But getting out there and getting in some movement will always be beneficial to your body, and your mind. For me, since the pandemic began I have been riding my bike as often as possible. Just feeling the wind on my face, sun on my skin, and sweat dripping down my back is so detoxifying for me. It gives me time to either jam to my music and ride to the beat, or just tune into the sound of nature and my own thoughts. And if you know me, i love anything that combines working out with getting my tan on sooo this is a win-win when the weather is so sunny in Cleveland 😍 - Find an activity that you enjoy, and make time for yourself this week to do it! Get a little uncomfortable, sweat it out a little bit.. and I promise, you won't regret it 😌 - What are some of the activities you like to do to tune out of the drama of life, and tune into your body?
