🍂have you read a book told from second person? What did you think?🍂 I read Stolen for the first time in my last year in high school. It was the first time I was exposed to a book told from second person. I found it so interesting! I reread it again last year. 📖 Stolen is about a girl who got kidnapped from the airport while with her parents. She's telling the story through a journal for her kidnapper. It is a slow paced book; she is trying her hardest to find her way home from the middle of nowhere. 4⭐ . . . #bookstagram #books #booklover #book #bookworm #reading #bookstagrammer #bookish #booknerd #bookaddict #bibliophile #instabook #booksofinstagram #bookaholic #bookphotography #read #readersofinstagram #booksbooksbooks #booklove #bookshelf #instabooks #bookblogger #igreads #love #bookcommunity #booklovers #bookreview #reader #canadianreader

"Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back. That's part of what it means to be alive. But inside our heads - at least that's where I imagine it - there's a little room where we store those memories. A room like the stacks in this library. And to understand the workings of our own heart we have to keep on making new reference cards. We have to dust things off every once in awhile, let in fresh air, change the water in the flower vases. In other words, you'll live forever in your own private library." ~ Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore . . · · · · #thoughts #quotes #bookstagram #love #quotestoliveby #books #life #quotestagram #bookworm #quotesgram #book #writersofinstagram #quotesoftheday #bookshelf #thoughtsoftheday #quotesdaily #booklover #thoughtsnlife #quotesaboutlife #wales #wordporn #quoteoftheday #bristol #writersofig #quotestags #bookaddict #murakami #vimageoftheday #quotesofinstagram #photography

. . Did you read Saeculum by Ursula Poznanski? For me, it's a book for cold evenings in autumn. 🎃🍂 . . #books #book #booklover #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #bookworm #bookphotography #ursulapoznanski #saeculum #instagood #photoshoot #photoshooting #knihy #knihomol #kniznytip #kniznysvet #blogger #slovakia #slovakgirl #slovakbookstagram #dnesctu #bookaholic #dnescitam #ctenijesexy #autumn #fall #candlelight #candles

“Doesn’t she know what she does to me? How everything twists with her around. Black and white bleed together and all that remains are gray blurs, bringing only her into sharp focus.“    Happy Release Day @willowwintersauthor , you are becoming quite the queen of mysteries. 👤    Intoxicatingly sexy and heart gripping But I Need You will leave you on the edge of your seat begging for more answers. Willow lures you into this salacious love triangle and captures your senses with every word written. 🔥    Delilah finds herself in a deadly predicament, parts of her childhood blurring with her present alluding to dark, twisted truths. Continuing to plow forward for information at any risk. Cody and Marcus vie for lead role, delving into their secrets. There is so much revealed yet so much more to learn between these three characters.     The journey you’re taken upon with these chapters will sink it’s teeth into your psyche. Leaning heavy into suspense but not letting up on any heat the sexual tension in this book is easily some of the hottest I’ve read. As a second installment this was exactly what I needed to keep me invested in this storyline. Well done. 🙌

**GIVEAWAY** What is your favorite thing about Fall? For a small New England town, Shadow Grove has an uncanny ability to attract the worst kind of trouble. Not that the residents are too concerned about the various horrors living among them. As the leaves change color and the weather grows colder, a foul presence is making itself known by leaving peculiar gifts for the students of Ridge Crest High. At first, the presents seem harmless—and a rash of accidents seem coincidental—but when seniors Rachel Cleary and her Scottish cousin, Dougal Mackay, find a boneless body in the boiler room, things take an ominous turn. My friend @questsandcrimes started a fun challenge called #leafmealoneimreading which is my mood always, but definitely this week. I needed a break so I took the week off work 🙌🏻⁣ ⁣ Unfortunately here in AZ we don’t have a lot of time to enjoy the changing of the leaves. They tend to go from green to.. dead pretty quickly 😂💀 but that look did fit with my #currentread Rebecca. ⁣ ⁣ Are the leaves changing where you’re at? 🍂

And now I’m wondering how I’m gonna survive until December before I get to find out what’s gonna happen next!!!! 😩😩😩

Read in 2020:- 81/100 #Bookreview 📚 Title:- The unsolved case of an Indian woman Author:- Puneeth Jh My ratings:- 4/5 . *In Association with Kharidobecho.in ( @kharidobechoBooks )* *Check @kharidobechoBooks for affordable Book Deals.* . . Review:- The unsolved case of an Indian woman is a book by Puneeth Jh. It is a book of thriller which will make you thrill. . The book is about three Indian women. Sneha who is tired of her elder sister. As she is finding a mate for Sneha. Ms. Tandel who is a great advocate. She fights every case fearlessly. But now she is getting threatened mailed that " you are gonna die soon". Meenu who lived with her grandparents during childhood. Now living with her parents and sister. Later her parents die. What will happen to the three of them now? Will all this three-story interact at some point? To know you need to grab your copy and read it. I will not be the spoiler. . The book is a mystery thriller that will hook you till the end. I loved reading this book. The author had done a great job writing about women's struggles that she faces. Every character is well described. The language of the book is also simple and easy for the reader to understand. The book is full of emotion, thrill, and curiosity to know what will happen after this. Book has engaged me till the end of the story. I will recommend do read it one who loves thriller genre books. #Kharidobecho #KharidobechoBooks #Kb_ki_family #ReviewerPartner #100bookschallenge #bookofthemonth #RiotGrams #mybookishfeatures #bookstagramfeature #bookaholic #readingcommunity #bookphotography #instabookclub #bookloverofInstagram #readersofInstagram #bookgram #bookaddict #bookblogger #mybookfeatures #booklover #instabooks #bookworm #bookish #booksbooksbooks #readingchallenge #readinggoals #bookstagram #booklover #bibliophile #booknerd #bookworm

Yesterday, I was home alone while showering when it occurred to me that someone could break in and ambush my naked ass. I thought about what I could grab to defend myself. Is shampoo a viable weapon, a razor — maybe I could emasculate my assailant by aggressively shaving him? Unless he’s a body builder and fancies a smooth physique— shit. What if he’s a competitive body builder? Ok, so I know these thoughts are abnormal, but let me throw my husband under the bus in case there are any men reading this thinking, “typical paranoid woman.” So last night my hubby woke up at 2:30 a.m and left our bedroom because he heard an imaginary noise. After he puffed out his chest and made his rounds, checking doors and windows in his underwear (doesn’t Superman wear briefs? ), he came back to bed and informed me that all was well. Which got me thinking... What is happening to us? We’ve been binge watching crime documentaries: Cold Case Files, Women Who Kill, and The Innocence Project. Also... I’ve just finished my second memoir (yay me! ) and I’ve begun reading fiction for the first time in years as I prepare to begin writing in this new genre (maybe ). I’m halfway though Lisa Jewell’s eerie psychological thriller “And Then She Was Gone.” Bone chilling. So here’s my question for those who were bored enough to read this meandering post: Are we poisoning our brains? Perhaps a little balance is in order? Time for a cozy novel and a nice Hallmark movie to balance the equilibrium or align our shakras or, at the very least, allow us to shower and sleep in peace?? Thoughts? 🤣😆🤦🏻‍♀️ #MustRead #BookBuzz #NewBook #amwriting #amwritingmemoir #writerslife #authors #writers #books #authorsofinstagram #writersofinstagram #author #bookstagram #writing #writer #writingcommunity #book #writerscommunity #reading #writerslife #authorlife #writersofig #memoir #booklover #authorsofig #bookworm

REVIEW Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Liked: This was something very unexpected!! Diskliked: It was a little unrealistic in parts Overall thoughts: This was on prime reading a little while back and I downloaded it and after months and months my boyfriend chose it for me to read. To be honest I just thought the cover was stunning and it sounded cool, I had no idea what type of book it was at all. So I was pleasantly pleased to discover this was one of the best books I’ve read recently. This one has a little bit of everything in and I found myself deeply connecting to the main character, Joanna, the raw reality of her, such a loveable, strong female lead. It’s a little whacky and cheesy, with an element of mystery too. Even Ursa could’ve had me fooled at one point, I really had no idea where this was going to begin with 🤣 it really does make you question what you would do in that situation!! My only peeve with this is that it’s probably a little unrealistic without giving too much away, I don’t think that most people would do what Joanna did 🤷🏼‍♀️ nevertheless I’d really recommend this one. ✨ Side note that theres a lot of triggers in this book; cancer, child abuse, murder, guns. etc ✨ • If you’ve read this one let me know what you thought?! Isn’t that cover just beautiful 😍 • #thriller #bookstagram #yabooks #fictionbooks #bookworm #bookish #booknerd #bibliophile #booklover #books #bookstagrammer #bookswap #bookphotography #ya #bookaddict #booklove #booksofinstagram #amazonwishlistgift #yabookstagram #randomactofkindness #yafantasy #youngadultbooks #readersofinstagram #yareads #reading #youngadult #book #glendyvanderah 📚 #yafiction #wheretheforestmeetsthestars

QOTD: Are you afraid of heights?⠀ ⠀ I'm leery of them, especially when I'm standing on a rickety walk board over a spiral staircase, which was the case this weekend. My dad came to stay with us all the way from across the bay (the main bridge is out, so it's an extra 45 minutes for him to get even to Pensacola ) so we could restart the work on The Shack and get it wrapped up. Sunday's effort included finishing the wood in the upstairs, which required tall, brave people. As I am neither, I let the two men in my life handle it, and I played tool bitch and helped cut what we needed. Then I cut one wrong and lost that job, hah! I'm aiming to be back out there on Thursday so we can get the trim going and perhaps even get the floor started. Ready to put a pin in this one so Hadley and I can spend a weekend out there.

some rat memes for the good of humankind, featuring the second to last slide: a rat stuffed animal that I NEED, and the last slide featuring my 2 pet ratz <3 . ratatouille is one of my favorite movies of all time. it’s a comfort movie for me that I grew up watching and the entirety of last year I was obsessed with it (including the soundtrack WHICH IS AMAZING, GO LISTEN TO SOUPED UP IT IS *CHEFS KISS* AMAZING ). the only thing I lack is a cursed rat stuffed animal pls someone get me one and I will love u forever <3 . in other news, I was in a funk for the past few days, but I went to my fencing class and talked to some people and I just miss talking to strangers bro. I was talking to this random guy who seemed pretty nice haha. we were doing fencing drills and he was helping me out (kind of ) and it was very wholesome. it was the classic “I will keep repeating the same thing over and over to you, and act super cool and epic when I do it” thing that all boys do and I was like 🥺 HAHAHA. honestly lifted my mood up a lil so yes. . also I realized that I’m dressed like that one picture of the rock minus the fanny pack which in all honestly I do not know how to feel about.

• Life Version 2 • (Book Review ) Follow @_pragmatic .facet_ for more. #livethesoul . . . 🖋️“Remember, a ship is very safe in harbor, but that is not what it is built for.” Does that allude to you? Such is Mr. Suhas Inamdar. . 🖋️Abhijeet Deshmukh: A sixteen-year-old boy with twenty in the pocket, hailing from Latur (a small town in Maharastra ), goes on to become one of the most exemplary business tycoons of his times. But then he has to experience something very obvious and inevitable: death. Oh well, we all are destined to face death someday or the other, but it takes a lot to experience death in a true sense. What if I say, you’re going to succumb to death in a few months? That’s our protagonist! . 🖋️Being a tycoon rooted in a small town, he is the perfect amalgam of true emotions and business; to whom one can always look up to transform anyway. Deshmukh is a strong believer in astrology and takes an interest in a range of themes like mythology, philosophy, religion, history, and many more. Having such a diversified perspective makes him a man of vision, integrity, perseverance, healthy debates, self-awareness, honesty, gratitude, and a great listener overall. In short, an old soul taking on the world with modernity. . 🖋️The book has a very simplistic flow to its events which makes it a great crowd puller. Having said so, I believe it can be a great pick for the “not a reader” bag of people indeed. Though I see the story lacks the character developing front, it makes a moral comeback at providing lucid and insightful takeaways to deal with life. . 🖋️Mr. Inamdar was compelling enough to make me relive my 104 ⁰F steaming fever which had compelled me to breathe death on the brim of life yet not slipped a step further. So if you’re a warrior pretty valiant to experience death on Earth yet stay anchored to do the needful irrespective, this work is a definite go-to. However, I’d love to recommend this book to anyone and everyone keeping an open-minded prospect into account. . 🖋️As Abhijeet alluded, “Failure is acceptable but low aim is a crime.” Let us take that extra mile to walk not guilty. But how? By giving it a read, maybe? . . . Thank you.☮️

#25 / 40 “The Paris Seamstress” by Natasha Lester ✂️ • No Spoiler Review below! • After gliding through Natasha Lester’s world the last couple weeks I was HOOKED. Also, this book made me cry at least twice by the end!! I give “The Paris Seamstress” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • If you love fashion, history, intrigue, and romance, this is the novel for you. The main character, Estella, is bold, uncompromising, and passionate. She is the perfect introduction into this world - fearless and daring, searching for her own path in the world. Joined by friends Sam and Janie, as well as a man of mystery Alex, Estella embarks on an unforgettable journey is all aspects. Intertwined with her granddaughter, Fabienne’s, journey, this book is an amazing family saga too! • Now... let’s talk MALE LEADS. Alex Montrose is that dreamy, mysterious man that we all dream about finding. Will Ogilvey is, what can I say other than perfection? Artistic, romantic, forward ... I’m pretty sure a man like this doesn’t exist. If you want to fall in love, this is an absolute must read! • My favorite aspect of this novel is the historical reflection of the changes and challenges women in the 1940s and on faced, seen through the lenses of Estella, Lena, and Janie. Lester did a phenomenal job of incorporating the emergence of the working woman within WW2, a huge factor is the emergence of ready-to-wear fashion and America’s emergence as a fashion leader. Lester does an amazing job painting the picture with fashion history, referencing geniuses throughout. I had a blast researching the different gowns that were referenced. I was also impressed with the depth that Lester went with her research on WW2 travel and technology. The details immersed me so deeply! • Overall, this is a must read for anyone who enjoys family sagas.. Go pick it up now! ✂️

🐰 BUNNY BY MONA AWAD 🐰 ⁣⁣ My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s been a hot minute since I’ve read this book, but I’ve been really excited to write a review for Bunny. This book is truly insane in the best way. The main character, Samantha Heather Mackey, is enrolled in an MFA program at some liberal arts college on the East Coast. She only has one friend because the rest of the students in her program are terrifying aka overwhelming sorority girls who are no longer part of a sorority but still act like it. Also they call each other “Bunny.”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Samantha somehow befriends the Bunnies and that is when things get weird…I interpreted the book as a satire-horror with lots of gore 🔪 (beware ) that provides the author’s take on the writing and creative process (it can get messy ). I loved the story despite its very odd language, and I think it will be even more enjoyable to read this book a second time while tipsy. 🤪

Hey Nerds, happy release day to the queen @jennifer_l_armentrout 📚🖤 — Today is the day that The Brightest Night, book 3 in the Origin series, is released! 🎉 Any opportunity to be back in the Lux universe with the amazing characters from it is needed and wanted 🖤. For some very sad reason my copy won’t get to me any time soon as Amazon UK are delayed 😩. Fingers crossed I get it in November guys cause I need more Luc and Evie adventures - until then I guess I’ll just have to reread 🤷🏻‍♀️ • In other JLA news, did you guys see that she is doing an Instagram live with SJM?! Two amazing women in one live, we are spoilt 💁🏻‍♀️ can’t wait to see what they discuss • In even more JLA themed news, I finally reshot the video I said I would do running through all of Jen’s back catalogue of her different fantasy series 😊. It is accidentally 30 minutes long 😅 so I’m going to either try to shorten it down (which feels impossible ), or post as two different videos. My love for Jen’s book and my tendency to ramble has gotten the best of me in this video guys 😅. So help a girl out, do I post two videos or put it on YouTube? (I do no have a YouTube account currently 😂 ) — • • • • #jenniferlarmentrout #jlanders #luxseries #signedbooks #bookflatlay #yafantasy #bookrelease #bookstagram #booklover #bookstagrammer #bookblogger #ukbookstagram #bibliophile #booknerd #booksbooksbooks #bookdragon #readersofinstagram #bookcommunity #igreads #instabooks #bookworm #fantasybooks #mybookishfeatures #bookishlife #bookoholic #mybookishlife #bookaesthetic #stephwanderingpages

I read THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS in one sitting and loved it so much.. When Libby Jones turns 25, she receives a letter that will finally lead her to the discovery of her birth parents. She also learns that she is the sole inheritor of their abandoned mansion on the banks of the Thames in London. What she doesn’t know is that others have been waiting for this day as well—and although they’ve been in hiding, they are now heading her way. After reading some mixed reviews, I noticed that people felt like this was more of a family drama/mystery rather than a thriller. I completely agree—and that’s why I enjoyed it. The cult plot was sinister + intriguing, but what I also really appreciated was how the story was told in multiple points of view, and that I could empathize with so many of the characters. One of my main issues with typical thrillers is that all of the characters are extremely unlikable, without any redeeming qualities. THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS had a gothic suspense vibe as well, so overall it was just a great reading experience. *A ton of Trigger Warnings in THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS. Message me for details.*

Hi. It has been a while since I really posted anything and I am very sorry for that! - My mental health has not been great lately, which lead to me taking an unplanned but highly necessary break. Last week was so bad, I tried working but it was nearly impossible. Keeping focus was hard and I felt stuck all the time..:/ - I feel this is something that is very important to talk about, something we should be able to be open about. Remember that it is okay to not always be cheerful, productive and motivated, sometimes it can become too much. Step down for a bit, take a breath and re-evaluate your goals and motivation☁️✨ - Although the last week was bad, I still had some positive experiences. One of them being getting very close to one of my friends. That came of us being open to each other on our problems and seeing that we are not as alone in our pain as we might think. You are not alone in not feeling good, so please reach out to someone. So much good can come from it!🤎 - I am starting to regain a bit more motivation, starting to be able to focus better and am feeling my mental health become a bit better. This does however not mean that things can’t get bad again. Life is not only positive and going in the right direction, sometimes hardship is necessary to find back to yourself!🕯🍂 - Just know that you can always reach out to me! Friends, family and teachers might also be nice to reach out to. The important thing is to reach out to someone, it gets so much easier. And cry, it almost feels like the tears bring some of the hardship with them. - I am so sorry for not letting you know about my break and kind of just disappearing. I might not get super active again at once, but I have returned: ) - You are worth so much. I am so happy to have you here. Always remember to take care of yourself❤️ - “It’s been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly that you will” -Anne Shirley Cuthbert🏔🌞✨

I’m hoping to pick it up in novemeber for @believathon and I’m hoping it’s going to become a new fav series ! ⠀ As reading updates go, I’ve finished A Grimm warning and I’ve started Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes, which I can’t wait to read more of. I’m loving this series and I’ve heard this one is the best in the saga so bring it on!!😌 ⠀ ⚔️ ⠀ #eragon #eldest #brisinger #inheritance #theinheritancecycle #christopherpaolini #christopherpaolinibooks #fantasynovels #fantasybooks #books #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookaholic #booklover #booknerd #bookaddict #bookworm #reader #readerofinstagram #booksofinstagram #fantasy #highfantasy #highfantasybooks #read #reading #readersofinstagram #bookish #bookishpics #deethebookelf #bookishaesthetic

#vanessa
